Your hosts – the Promberger family

As your hosts, the Promberger family, which consists of Fritz and Edeltraud Promberger and their three children, will try everything they can to make you feel at home at Ütia de Börz Alpine inn. Our aim is to create a cozy, familiar atmosphere and an environment which focuses on personal service and a sophisticated lifestyle. We love this area and its people, and will try to make you feel the same.

We have been managing this Alpine inn at Passo delle Erbe/Würzjoch since 1996. Over the years we have changed a fair few things, culminating in the complete renovation in 2002. During this renovation we focused on the use of local, natural raw materials, such as larch tree and pine tree wood.

Fritz accompanies his guests on the most beautiful hiking tours in the Dolomites, both in winter and summer. Moreover, he takes care of perfectly preparing the cross-country tracks and hiking trails, and also takes pride in serving a mean apple strudel! Your host Edeltraud is the most popular person at Ütia de Börz, always approachable and taking care of every little detail. Even the next generation, the Promberger children, try to help wherever they can to make their guests happy. Markus, the oldest, often helps out in the office, Klaus in the service department and the youngest child, Sabine, is already gaining experience behind the bar!
