Winter hiking on Passo delle Erbe/Würzjoch is a great way of discovering what is also known as "Little Alaska". Snow shoe hiking is a great activity in winter, which enables you to go just about everywhere, no matter how deep the snow. Thanks to the large surface of the hiking shoes, your weight is distributed evenly on the snow and you barely sink in. The area around Passo delle Erbe/Würzjoch is safe with little danger of avalanches, and offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding scenery. High-quality snow shoes and hiking poles can be rented for free at our mountain inn. Several times a week we personally guide our guests on some of the most beautiful winter hiking tours.

Many stunning cross-country tracks start directly at Ütia de Börz and lead through the pristine meadows and forests at the foot of Sas de Pütia/Peitlerkofel. A track of a total length of eight kilometers can be accessed for free by cross-country skiers in both classic and freestyle. Cross-country equipment can be rented in Antermoia/Untermoi, which is only 4.5 kilometers away from the mountain inn.

Race through the forest! The toboggan run from Ütia de Börz to Antermoia/Untermoi is 2.6 kilometers long and popular with all age groups. The run ends directly at the main road, so it is easy for us to pick you up and take you to the starting point once again. High-quality sleds can be rented by our guests.

Surely a winter vacation in the Dolomites should include at least one day on the slopes. Here you can choose from a variety of different possibilities. The closest resort is the small ski area of Antermoia/Untermoi at 4.5 km. At San Martino/St. Martin (8 km Passo delle Erbe/Würzjoch) the new Piculin cable car leads up to Plan de Corones, South Tyrol's most popular ski resort. A shuttle service connects San Martino/St. Martin with the Alta Badia ski resort, which in turn is connected to Gardena/Gröden and other resorts in the Dolomiti SuperSki association of ski resorts via Sellaronda.
